Matt Daniel is a singer/songwriter based out of Nashville, TN.  On February 12, 2018 Matt moved from New Braunfels, TX to pursue a career in country music.  His Music is inspired by a traditional country style and a hint of Texas swing.  This year Matt is excited to release his first single, meet new fans, and most of all play the music he loves.

Matthew Daniel Hoelzeman was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on April 15th 1996.  during his early childhood, Matt developed a love for music.  At age 6 he started playing the piano and guitar.  soon after graduating high school in 2014, Matt moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he lived and worked as a maintenance technician for a property management company.  His favorite thing to do in Tulsa was to go to Cain’s ballroom and watch country acts when they came to town.  On July 6, 2015 Matt moved to a cattle farm in West Fork, Arkansas. While living there, Matt made his first country debut when he got asked to sing “The Dance” by Garth Brooks at the "Little Ol’ Opry” where they held a show every Saturday night playing mostly classic country and blues.  Later that year Matt joined the US Air Force and moved to San Antonio where he served until he was honorably discharged in July, 2017.  Matt continued to live in Texas working on a ranch in San Marcos until moving to Nashville, Tennessee on February 12, 2018 where he continues to work on his music career.
